Adult entertainer’s timeline 2: cam model

My boyfriend at the time and I moved to a new state. A fellow phone sex operator introduced me to a friend who was also working as a cam model (or “cam girl”, as the phrase was more common then).

I decided to try it. After five years of phone sex, cam modeling was extra exciting! I was rather insecure about a lot of things. I was generally praised for my looks and sweetness by the clients who called me. It really made me feel special.

I also started creating teasing videos for Clips4Sale and did some livestream cam.

To be honest, it was a tough time for me. By 2007, the economy was suffering and I was having trouble making enough money! I decided to return to working as an administrative assistant but I thought about phone sex and camming often. I missed so much about this work! The praise, the odd requests and connecting with my clients. Every so often, if I needed money for something, I would do phone sex only. I wanted to come back and do it all!

It would be five years before I returned to sex work full time.
